Terms of use

Licence of the website content: what is permitted without asking and what requires consent.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the content of the website deepnet.at: texts, graphics, images, screenshots, videos, dossiers, diagrams and the source code of the pages. The programs (Prostate Commander, RAD Reporter, IUCOM Reporter) are governed exclusively by their own licence agreements (licence texts or within each program). This website grants no rights to the software.

2. Rights holder

© 2026 Dr. Herbert Schuster, deepnet.at. All rights reserved. The content is protected by copyright; names and signs such as deepnet.at, Prostate Commander, RAD Reporter and IUCOM Reporter, including their logos and wordmarks, identify the offerings of Dr. Herbert Schuster.

3. Permitted without asking

  • viewing, reading, printing and saving the pages for your own, non-commercial use;
  • linking to the pages, including individual subpages – without embedding the content in frames of other sites and without suggesting a cooperation or endorsement;
  • reproducing short passages within the statutory right of quotation, citing “deepnet.at” with a link to the quoted page.

4. Requires written consent

  • reproducing, distributing, making publicly available or adapting the content in whole or in substantial part – in particular graphics, videos, dossiers and screenshots;
  • any commercial use of the content;
  • using the names, logos and wordmarks (point 2) for your own offerings or publications;
  • automated extraction of the pages (scraping) and using the content to train or improve AI models. Use for text and data mining is expressly reserved (Art. 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790, § 42h(6) Austrian Copyright Act); indexing by search engines for the purpose of findability is excepted.

Requests to herbert.schuster@deepnet.at – consent is usually given gladly, for example for teaching, articles or press work.

5. Third-party content

Databases, institutions, products and trademarks of third parties named here (such as RIS, EUR-Lex, PubMed, RSNA, Anthropic, Microsoft) belong to their respective owners; they are named for description only. Linked sites are governed by their own terms. Third-party components of the programs and their licences are listed in the licence texts.

6. No advice, no warranty

The content informs about working methods and products. It is not legal, tax or medical advice and not an offer in the legal sense. It is prepared with care; no warranty is given for accuracy, completeness or currency. Liability for damage arising from the use of the website is limited to intent and groß negligence as far as legally permissible; mandatory statutory liability, in particular for personal injury, remains unaffected.

7. Governing law

Austrian law applies, excluding the conflict-of-law rules of private international law. Mandatory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected.

8. Changes

These terms may be amended; the version published here applies. The imprint and privacy policy apply in addition.
